Real Chimneys is a family-owned chimney company serving Southeastern Wisconsin. Behind every job is Rick, our lead technician with over 8 years of hands-on experience, and his wife, the person who keeps everything else running. Together, we built this business from the ground up, and we’re building it for our family and our son.
How It Started
Rick spent more than eight years working for the same chimney company, learning the trade from the inside out. When the owner retired and that chapter closed, we had a decision to make. We could look for another job, or we could bet on ourselves.
We bet on ourselves.
Real Chimneys started with Rick’s experience, his wife’s drive, and very little else. No big investment, no safety net. Just the conviction that if we worked hard, did things right, and treated every customer’s home the way we’d want someone to treat ours, we could build something real.
That’s exactly what we’re doing.
What Makes Us Different
Rick didn’t just learn how chimneys work. He learned how the chimney industry works, and some of what he saw didn’t sit right with him. Technicians recommending services that weren’t always necessary, customers trusting someone to be straight with them and not always getting that.
We do things differently.
When Rick comes to your home, he gets up on the roof himself, runs the camera himself, and shows you exactly what he finds with real photos and video before recommending anything. If your chimney is fine, he’ll tell you it’s fine. If something needs attention, you’ll see the evidence before any work is discussed.
And when the job is done, every client receives a complete folder with photos and videos of the entire process, from before we started to the finished result. Your home, your documentation. No surprises, no guessing.
